About Us

I made my first coin ring in the shop of my childhood farm. With a hammer, drill, a silver coin and a lot of patience, I formed a smooth silver ring.

Seeing people admire this ring sparked my interest. How could I improve this design? I decided the next step would be to make a coin ring without ruining the coin's beautiful detailing. It took some practice, many failed attempts, and the odd frustration, but I finally got my first coin ring without losing the detail and design of the coin. From there I have refined my practice and acquired specialized tools to form coin rings of the highest quality.

It has been nearly ten years since that initial curiosity in that farm shop, and it has lead to me making coin rings from all over the world. So far, I have formed coin rings from the currency of over 25 different countries in silver, copper, nickel, brass and other various coin metals. My greatest passion lies in forming coin rings that tell a story for my customers. Coins of a certain year, theme, or country that hold meaning or memories for them. I have found that this work has been very purposeful to form these unique pieces.

I have recently begun to expand my creative process to laser engraving as well. Currently I have started laser engraving unique designs into different materials including cork and wood. The detail achieved on the laser is second to none. Making custom laser engravings and designs has been another skill that I have grown and refined into my business.
